Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to answer your inquiry, and we don't sell or share it for advertising. This page explains exactly what we gather and why.

This Privacy Policy explains how Levy's Construction ("we," "us," or "our"), based in West End, Roatán, Honduras, handles personal information collected through this website, primarily the contact form. We've written it in plain language. If anything is unclear, email us at contact@levys-construction.com and we'll explain.

Information we collect

When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you choose to provide:

  • Your name and email address (required to reply)
  • Your phone or WhatsApp number (optional)
  • Project details you share: project type, location on Roatán, budget range, target start date, lot ownership, and anything you write in the message field

We also process limited technical data, your IP address and basic browser information, when your browser loads the site and when the form is submitted. This is handled by our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) to deliver the site and to tell human visitors apart from automated spam.

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or social-media pixels. We host our own fonts, so no third-party font service receives your IP address.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide the information, quote, or next step you asked for
  • To communicate with you about a potential or active project
  • To protect the form and our site from spam and abuse

We will never sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Legal bases (for visitors in the UK, EU, and similar regimes)

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on these legal bases:

  • Your consent and/or steps taken at your request before entering a contract, when you send us an inquiry
  • Our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries, keeping basic records of who we've spoken with, and protecting our site from abuse, balanced against your rights

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; this won't affect processing already carried out.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. We do use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, only as needed to run the website and reach you:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the website, processes the contact form, and provides spam protection (Turnstile). Cloudflare may handle your IP address and form submission.
  • Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — delivers the contact-form submission to our inbox as an email.

These providers are based in the United States and act under their own privacy and security commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law.

International transfers

Because our service providers are in the United States and we operate from Honduras, your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries. Data-protection laws there may differ from those in your home country. By submitting the form, you understand your information will be handled in these locations for the purposes described above.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry details only as long as needed to respond and to maintain reasonable records of our correspondence, typically no longer than two years after our last contact, unless we begin a project together (in which case related records are kept for the duration of the project and as required for tax and legal purposes). You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use analytics or advertising cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and working. The Turnstile spam check assesses whether a visitor is human without tracking you across other websites.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the UK, EU, and Canada (PIPEDA), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that's inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request a copy of your information in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent where we relied on it

To exercise any of these, email contact@levys-construction.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're in the UK or EU and believe we've mishandled your data, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

This website and our services are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
